Thailand Chief – ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX)
Mr. Jumnong Nawasmittawong serves as the Thailand Chief of the ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX), where he plays a pivotal leadership role in advancing regional cooperation and strengthening ASEAN’s position within the global textile and apparel value chain. He is also on the Board of the National Federation of Thai Textile Industries (NFTTI) and the Thai Textile Institute (THTI).
With extensive experience in Thailand’s textile and garment industry, Mr. Jumnong is widely recognized for his strategic insight and commitment to industry development, particularly in fostering cross-border collaboration among ASEAN member nations. In his capacity at AFTEX, he actively works to align regional stakeholders, promote trade integration, and support initiatives that enhance competitiveness, sustainability, and innovation across the sector.
He is also a key figure in positioning Thailand as a central hub for textile and apparel sourcing in Asia, contributing to major regional platforms and dialogues that bring together global manufacturers, buyers, and policymakers.
